Anvil Icon“Live SO36” Captures the Band’s Eclectic History

With “Live SO36,” New Model Army offers a dynamic collection of fan favorites and seldom performed tracks, capturing the band’s visceral live performance energy. This album complements their previous orchestral endeavor, “Sinfonia,” recorded just a day before at Berlin’s Tempodrom, providing fans with a contrasting experience of their musical spectrum.

As the band explains, the idea to follow up their full orchestra performance with two nights at the iconic SO36 venue in Kreuzberg, Berlin, was a deliberate choice to return to their simpler, stripped-down punk-rock roots. Across these performances, the band delivered 38 different songs in addition to the 21 played with the orchestra, creating a whole weekend of intense musical experiences.

Fans can rejoice as “Live SO36” will be available in several formats, including a 2CD+DVD Digipak and a Black 2LP Gatefold, both offering an exclusive first print-run audio download of the unreleased Show 2, recorded on July 17.
