Finnish progressive death/post-metal band Ashes In The Fall have unleashed their debut EP ‘Where Serenity Prevails’ today, March 21, 2025, through Inverse Records. The brainchild of a group of talented teenagers, all band members are aged between 17 and 18, having formed in 2019 with a mission to carve a unique path in the metal scene.

During the composition process, our biggest musical influences were Gojira, Alcest, and especially Opeth. We highly recommend this EP to fans of progressive death metal, post-metal, and all who appreciate raw, authentic production. The EP was recorded, mixed, and mastered by us.”

Ashes In The Fall is a Finnish collective poised between progressive death and post-metal, defined by diverse sonic influences. Since germinating in 2019, the band has grown through changing line-ups to solidify its current roster:
